Adapt, Revise and Change

Writer: Raiysa NazaireRaiysa Nazaire

This picture was taken a few months after my son, Khaliyq, transitioned by suicide. My heart was broken; yet I stood firmly in my knowing that love doesn’t die, and physical death is transformation to another level of evolving change and exploration.

My eyes were still wide open. They later narrowed as a sense of loss and human conditioning crept in to displace knowing, and life experience reflected more relationship loss and imbalance. I suppose I didn't want to see a world without Khaliyq.

Once I started energy work, I began spiraling up from those heavy emotions. Reiki, acupuncture, thought therapy, talk therapy, sound healing, forgiveness, yoga, meditation, and herbal remedies are all in my energy elevation toolkit. While I’ve gained an even stronger footing in knowing, my eyes are not yet wide open. They let me know there is still attuning to be done - and there always will be because in this journey of unlimited possibility there is no final destination.

I use everything I have learned and experienced in my life coaching work because I know that experience allows one to be the best teacher. When we take the next step to embrace change, and not shrink back into old habits, we evolve into a higher version of self. We find that we are whom we've been waiting for, and the bumps on the journey to self awareness that shape us are so totally worth it!

"Every success story is a tale of constant adaption, revision and change." Richard Branson
